Hull Shape Design
MSI has the software and expertise to support the hull shape
design at a very early stage of the project. Shape Maker is a powerful tool
making the iterative process of developing an optimum hull shape more efficient.
Changes of the existing model can done very quickly, potential improvements can
easily be tested and it possible to have correct hull surface in any design stage.
Previous hull designs can be implemented and used as a prototype for new designs
or as a comparison between various designs.

                     Key features:

                    - Hull shape design can be developed in the
initial design phase based on general arrangement
                      drawing and principals characteristics
                    - Hull shape optimization can be done based on Computational Fluid Dynamics calculations.
Detailed study of streamlines, pressure distribution
and wave pattern indicates where ship surface can be improved
                     - Hydrodynamic efficiency can be improved for existing vessels
